To those fallen,
For whom Freedom
Was too dear to risk
Life without.

Thank you for this day
In which to live, work, love,
Play, and to rise again
To protect this place
From tyrants’ terror.

Rest assured, dear soldier,
That the banner of the Free
Shall ever wave
Over the Home of the Brave.
