    Windows XP Network Icon

    Does anyone know how to stop the little network icon's showing up in the system tray for networks that arn't currently connected ?

    Use Linux....



    OK, I don't think that you can without deleting the connection that isn't being used... Come on people, I know some of y'all use Windows, one of y'all has to know a way.

    EDIT: Wait a second... DO you mean like hiding unused icons?
    Real security doesn't come with an installer.

    Hmmm sort of ... i've found out how to do it. Thanks for your help tho.

    Just incase anyone views this in the future the answer is to simply disable the connection in the "network connections" control window.
