    site setting up

    Is there any site which provides free domain names (i dont mean Sub domains) Also please dont suggeat any google search.
    i have tried www.freewebs.com ,www.bravenet.com , www.freewebspace.com but they only provide me with sub domains.
    I want to upload my site. It is already developed in my pc.
    But all these site donot give permission to upload the page. They say that uploading pages is not available in freehosting. Please help me.
    Currently working on sdome link directories and a brand new programming site. :P will post them soon.

    You can get top level domains for ~ $15
    Why not just buy one?
    If that kind of cash is too rich for you ( it is for some), settle for a sub domain or the
    good old /~ home directory.

    In the US, many states governments offer free access to their name space.

    Here it is <yourname>.colorado.co.us

    There is no such thing as a free domain unless a friend is going to pay it for you..If you don't want to pay you will just have to settle for a subdomain or a /~you or /you...
