    not really important

I was looking at MsM's profile and saw

Member Status : Moderator - AO Supreme Being

shouldn't it now say 'Member Title" ? someone may think it's a status u can earn ....

    or create two different fields:

    Member Status: Newbie
Member Title: Not Earned or something like that.

I'd like to go on record by saying that nothing you post is ever important Just kidding with ya man. I think your idea's okay, but not too big of a deal for JupMedia to be all too concerned over.

    hi 11001001

No what MemorY is trying to say here is different to what i said memorY means to say that now that Custom Titles have been Permitted...Shouldn't there be something to Differentiate between Member Title and Member Status

    As you already know

These are the Member Status :

    • Newbe
    • Jr Member
    • Member
    • Senior Member

These are Member Status.....it's a indicative of the number of posts a user has made..........They are achived by the post count...everybody goes through form being a Newbe to Senior Member ...

Now look at the profile of Someone who has got Custom Title

    phishphreek80
    Member Status: AO übergeek

Now someone might get the Impression that it's a Member Status. and they too have to go through by being a AO übergeek or a Ninjs Code Monkey or a Flash Monkey ( oooo Boy it's getting scarier day by day)........... .which isen't the case.. .........

    Thats why he is suggesting
    phishphreek80
    Member Status: Senior Member
    Member Title: AO übergeek

That's a pretty good suggestion you got there MemorY.
It would defiantly distinguish it from being something that you can earn via post count.
At least that way newer members will see that it's an added site benefit, witch i must say is something that is worth working for.

    cheers

It is a good idea to me I think that what the requirements are to obtain it should be added to the faq before people start asking a **** load of questions about it.

Or get one of the Mod's to make a Thread about it and Sticky it in the General Discussion area or something..

I changed the display so if a user has a custom title, their profile shows both "User Title" and "User Status". If no custom title, profile display remains the same, showing only "User Status".
