    Technology is dangerous

In what may be the first trial of its kind in the nation, prosecutors have accused the pickup truck's driver of second-degree murder for watching a movie instead of the road when he crashed head-on into the Jeep.
    stupid

Installed as recommended, DVD players and TV screens are either visible only from the back seats or will not work unless the vehicle is in park. But owners can defeat the safety measures by installing the devices themselves, as Petterson did, according to prosecutors.

After the crash, Petterson and his passenger, roommate Jonathan Douglas, were transported to an Anchorage hospital. Within hours, Douglas called his ex-wife and told her he was not sure how the collision occurred because he was "spacing out on a movie they were watching," according to prosecutors. The woman is scheduled to testify.

Technology isn't dangerous. It's how mankind uses it. There are no bounds for the amount of stupidity that's out there.

No... even a monkey knows that tossing around random things around (sharp objects, large/heavy things, its poop, & ect...) it'll know that with these actions there is a reaction. This guy fits in well with rocks though when you really think about it, as he has the mind of one. I mean... a rock just sits around and doesn't do anything. Clearly thats what he was doing, oh wait well... besides keeping a toe on the gas and drooling. But even then a rock can put weight on a gas peddel and drip water deppending on the weather.

It's times when things such as this happends when you really gotta ask yourself... what would Homer Simpson do. DOH!

Sounds like someone needs to put a little chlorine in his gene pool, if you ask me. Now I know why they put all those warnings on blow dryers: Do not use while sleeping. Do not use while in the tub or shower. Do not use if I.Q is lower than 20, etc. etc.
Mankind have a great aversion to intellectual labor; but even supposing knowledge to be easily attainable, more people would be content to be ignorant than would take even a little trouble to acquire it.
