    CD-ROM drivers

    MATSHITA UJDA360

    I have been looking for the drivers for this particular cd rom for around 5 hrs....
    Any one know of any good websites with drivers... maby for this burner.
    all suggestions greatly appreciated.

    The OS is Win XP Pro,
    And it is the CD-ROM is on a dell inspiron lap top...

    Did you try the dell site? If it came with your laptop you could just try that. I tryed but since they make 20 different inspirons it really didn't help any. Any time you buy a packaged computer like that try the manufacturer's site.

    I have a dell inspiron with a cd-burner. You do NOT need any drivers to make it work. It should work with any standard XP install.

    Try removing and reinserting it. If it's not recognised, it's broken.

    If you're looking for drivers for your Dell go to http://support.dell.com type in your assettag or model and you're directed to all the drivers/bios/manuals etc. for your model.
