    ad-aware alternatives

    Im trying to find some anti -spyware program that can do an automated scan once every week. Im trying to avoid Ad-aware 6 PE since it doesnt provide the option to do an automated scan once every week. Feel free to offer your suggestions and a brief product overview if you choose

    AdAware is great, don't ditch it.
    Give this a whirl-

    It will allow you to integrate AdAware with the system task tool in Windows.

    edit: I'm sorry if this isn't working for you, but none of the command line arguments do anything for me.

    Another good program is Spybot S&D.

    Spybot Search and Destroy is a good alternative.
