scanned file
hi,
ive tried to scan a file using my AV and got this results:
0 Identified processes 25 Running processes
21 Identified registry keys 71 Components recognized
3 Identified folders 0 Components ignored
47 Identified files 71 New components
21 Identified registry keys 71 Components recognized
<--does this mean i have a spyware on that program im running?
47 Identified files 71 New components
<---really dont know what it means?
any help would be gladly appreciated

umm... what AV software? And OS and other stuff might help too.

Basically, it doesn't mean a lot...........it is your system summary.
If your AV finds anything then it will warn you with a virus found message. You might like to boot into safe mode and run a complete system scan I normally check for AV updates every day, or the next time I use a particular machine (I have quite a few). I do a full scan once a week after updating..........it is a good habit to get into.
I also periodically run Housecall, that is Trend Micro's online scanner.

ill try housecall then, but I just like to know if those things were safe or not
