    Cool Make kde lighter???

    I have just installed a debian (from a knoppix 3.7 cd) linux on my pc and nearly everything is ok...i just dont like the idea that kde spends so much CPU (I dont have problem really as I run on 2.53Ghz) and i would like to know if anyone knows a way to stop some unwanted processes and make less CPU-eating KDE. I have a KDE 3.2.3
    Any ideas?
    Is that the place where I am supposed to say sth clever and brilliant so that everybody understands how clever nice guy I am????

    Turn off all the special effects and fancy stuff if you want it to be lighter.
