AO pop ups
well at first i thought it was just a spy ware in my college computer but now its for sure AO has pop ups
i formated my home pc and installed win 98 a norton fire wall and connected it to the net ,opened AO and i get a pop up askingme to tkae a breif survey
have AO policyies regarding POP ups changed??

The Similar Threads seem to suggest this has been done before..
Have gotten them in the past.. The questions were about ads on AO..
Don't see any adds anymore (Adblock plugin) nor popups (FireFox standard)..

Yeah umm, because IE doesnt block pop-ups ??? Get Firefox, live in peace.

There has been no change in the policy. If you look at the "Similar Threads" listed below this you'll see that this has been discussed ad nauseum. Take a look at this thread in particular: http://www.antionline.com/showthread...hreadid=259998
I would suggest however taking some time to invest in using Firefox, Mozilla or something other than IE. Not only are you open to pop-ups but you leave yourself wildly open to spyware and other items. I suspect that spyware will soon become a venue to insert something even nastier than it does at present.
