The Web site of the founder of the hacking Website Antionline.com, thought to be ONE OF THE BEST HACKERS IN THE WORLD.
I'd have to say that that person has no clue what they are talking about and probably shouldn't be writing a book about hacking. If JP was such an almighty hacker his website would have done much better without the forums because he would have been able to write his own content. As it is the forums are the only thing that kept AO alive. The weekly mailbag, his news feeds, and the laughable articles from C. Meinel, and ask Bub definitely were not cutting it. He tried to write some articles about hacker profiling, and even did a brief stint doing conferences on the matter but I've not seen his name associated with any conferences or any news articles in years. He did a good job keeping this place alive but it may have just been a fluke since he hasn't been able to repeat on the performance. Only time will tell.

The main thing that kept me here was that for whatever reason the proxy filtering software that my work used back in '97 didn't block his site. So it was one of the only security news collection sites in existence that wasn't blocked at my work. Securityfocus basically killed off that functionality of AO because SF actually provides original content and commentary along with news feeds. Now I like the forums...

    A lesson for life:

    Confirmation before contradiction.

I may be new to Antionline as a member but I have been coming here as a guest for a long time.

And I have heard alot about JP - don't assume that he started Antionline to propagate a perception of security 'eliteness' (I hate that word these days). He knows his **** - or at least some ****.

You'll find alot about about him here -

People who know nothing crack me up. . . . Talk to JP for yourself sometime. . . . Not hard to find on IRC.

Yea, he's a ****er at times. At least he likes decent Cognac (Oh who am I kidding? The BEST Cognac) and has a nice good taste in clothing. So does Negative too. And of course me. Even though I think you said on IRC you don't like Armani, I do (The Cologne).
