    doesnt netcraft.com portscan?

    i could've sworn that they did and thier "What's that site running?..." page seems to suggest a portscan. did they stop showing all the services a host is running or am i just confused?

    Netcraft explains it quite nicely at http://uptime.netcraft.com/up/accuracy.html#os. They don't give much details, though. But I don't need they need to go further than just examining the raw HTTP responses.
