    ftpds/httpds hosting pdf's

Anyone know of any ftpd's / httpd's hosting pdf's like Hacking Exposed and others. Plz dont give urls to rapidshare because it is a pain even with proxies

No, but maybe that's because those of us who wanted the book PAID for it. It really is worth the money.

Not only that, but even if someone here were aware of the URL of such a file, why would they give it to someone whose profile seems to be more at the "BlackHat" end of the security spectrum?

I really wanted to neg you, but I refrained. I'm going to give you a chance first. I'm not going to make assumptions on you because I don't know you and I don't know your skillsets. But as far as your Web Site goes, it is garbage. You didn't ellaborate on anything, you just put nessus, jtr, nmap etc and put "Hacking Tools". And you put that you are a blackhat, which is extremely ignorant, also. Try not to make an image for yourself and just be interested in computers.

And as far as free e-books goes, try supporting Stuart Mcclure and the guys and try oh no, "BUYING" Hacking Exposed.

Seems like he is just gathering more junk for that sad excuse for a website. Don't feed the bears.

Alright, Ill admit it. Im poor. I want something for nothing. I have downloaded and read a few ebooks that I should have paid for. After reading it, its much much better to hold the book. See the cover and feel the pages. I think downloading a book will never ever compair to a bookshelf of really nerdy and interesting topics. My bookshelf may be little and contain a few hardcovers alot of 2600s and piles of linux weekly/journals. but its much better then a few gigs of downloaded material.

Why not just host a section of independent ezines or whitepapers? most of the authers of those wouldnt mind also as you give them credit. (better check first thoe)

As for the website "silence is the best treatment here" .
You want people to be silent about a sub-par website? Don't put the link on your profile
