Exclamation Oooooooo - I'm tellin' Mamma! The Patriot Act I/II and You.

    Hello all-

While opinions are much like posterior orifices - everybody has at least one, the article and opinion from this author on the Patriot Act, in general and in relation to other US government work, is at least interesting. Especially about the news on Section 215 of the Patriot Act. Does this Act work for us or against us? Is this good security or bad government or something else entirely?

The author also has an eWeek link (wow) for an article on Patriot Act II.

After reading both, I feel less like a patriot and more like a victim of my own government.

Where is the ACLU on this one? Oh... here they are: http://www.aclu.org/safefree/general...s20051116.html

We\'ve all been raised by television to believe that one day we\'ll all be millionaires and movie gods and rock stars -- but we won\'t. And we\'re learning slowly that fact. And we\'re very, very pissed off.\" - Tyler (Brad Pitt) Fight Club.

The EFF is another group I'd expect to make a clatter about this. Where were they?

Well, the important thing if the Animal Liberation Front has an opinion.
