go away!!
In short: I have this folder that just won't go away.
In detail: I created this folder once, and I delete it but when I restart my computer it re-appears on my desktop. If it means anything, the name of it is "New Folder (2)" since sometimes im too lazy to change folder names I just leave them as New Folder. I've tried Shift+Del (which is what I always do), Del, and I've tried manually moving it into the recycle bin and nothing. I tried through cmd but it doesn't even go away. Any help?

Howdy.
Turn system restore OFF then delete the folder into recycle bin, then empty the recycle bin, then restart the computer.
hopefully the folder should be gone, if it is then turn system restore back on.
if not maybe try the secure shredder that comes with Spybot. i've gotten rid of a few problem folder's etc by using the shredder.
Also maybe check the folder properties, uncheck read-only etc etc.
cheers

Try rebooting in safe mode and then delete it, may be something accessing that folder and preventing it from Delete.
