    Looking for a monitoring tool

    Hello AO

    My company remotely monitors our cleints computers for Errors. What I am wondering is if anyone knows of any inexpensive software that would email us when a error occurs, like event viewer errors.

    When I state inexpensive I mean like less than 500.00 for a multi user installation.

    Don't know how many workstations you want ot monitor but http://www.breakoutsoft.com/ looks nice. Not sure of the price, though.

    Nagios can do some things, although configuration of the server is a little involved, but once you get it nailed nagios rocks. http://www.nagios.org/faqs/viewfaq.php?faq_id=32

    It depends on exactly what you want to monitor, I guess.
