Orkut invites?
Does anyone have any orkut invites? If so, would you mind inviting me?
Please respond here and I'll PM you an email address.
Just want to check it out...

Thanks!
Quitmzilla is a firefox extension that gives you stats on how long you have quit smoking, how much money you\'ve saved, how much you haven\'t smoked and recent milestones. Very helpful for people who quit smoking and used to smoke at their computers... Helps out with the urges.

heh. I had an orkut account... I'm sure I still have it but I don't remember any of the information. I'll try to dredge up that account and I'll pass you an invite if I find it

Yes... but you have to have a orkut account first. Then you have to "link" the two accounts.

Thanks for the offers everyone. I was able to receive an okrut invite.
orkrut is similar to myspace. I just wanted to check it out and see the differences.
I started a myspace account with *most* of my "real" information to see how many people I could find. It was amazing... I got in touch with about 30 people I haven't talked to in *years*.
The site works. Is there a threat to your privacy? Sure... however, you can set your age down to < 16yrs old and your profile becomes "private". Then, only "friends" can view most of the info on it. I'm not sure if you can mark your profile private without decreasing your age... I didn't see that setting. But I didn't look very hard either.

Myspace seems a tad "teenage highschool-ish" for me. I was thinking about starting one, but I dunno.. don't see the point.
