    Internet Based Test For...

It has been a long long time since I have been here, maybe some of the older folk will remember me? I have been out of the loop in the computer/internet industry for quite a while, been pretty busy with the army.

I am looking for a website that can run a realtime test on my computer and tell me exactly what all the programs/apps are that are currently running, and which of those are A. Unneeded, and B. Not supposed to be there in the first place.

Reason I ask is for the past few days, a program has been executing on my computer, the window for the program appears and dissapears on my windows start bar too quickly to catch it. I am running XP, and I personally cannot find anything out of sorts in the task manager.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi,

You need to get hijack this and run it, then submit the log it will generate to this site and it will be analysed online.

    http://www.hijackthis.de/

As for stuff you don't need, that is really up to you..............I am not aware of any online service that does that.

PS. You can download hijack this from the above site as well.
