Apache Win32? Any way to speed it up?

    Kinda related to web development.

I have a departmental Apache Win32 server at work that's running under XP Pro.

Apache is v2.0.50 and PHP is v4.3.8.

I've run a similar configuration on a much slower machine.

My problem is, whenever I open multiple instances of it under either IE 6 Sp 2 or Netscape 7.2, the sessions are incredibly slow to load, and moreso to open a specific page.

I've looked on Google, and can't find anything specifc to my scenario.

    Anyone got any ideas?

    Thanks.

You tried bumping up the max/min clients? The default is pretty low...

    Have a look here:

    http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.0/misc/perf-tuning.html
There is only one constant, one universal, it is the only real truth: causality. Action. Reaction. Cause and effect...There is no escape from it, we are forever slaves to it. Our only hope, our only peace is to understand it, to understand the 'why'. 'Why' is what separates us from them, you from me. 'Why' is the only real social power, without it you are powerless.
