i've een using ihatespam and up until we upgradded exchange it worked great....now it causes exchange to lock up.

does anyone use an outside spam filtering service?

There's a different version of ihatespam for use with Exchange 5.5:

    http://www.sunbelt-software.com/iHateSpamExchange.cfm

If you're using Exchange 2000 or Exchange 2003, you are supposed to use "Sunbelt Messaging Ninja 2.0":

    http://www.sunbelt-software.com/Sunb...agingNinja.cfm

Which is ihatespam for Exchange's successor.

Don't know whether your subscription will support an upgrade or not. Check out the Sunbelt web page and see if that helps.

you got an AV scaning the mail too...like an exchange scan before it gets to the users mailbox....may be causing a conflict??

Any errors in the event logs...
