    Joomla safe?

    Hi,

    I am trying to install joomla as my news website, but I found around 13 exploits already on milw0rm website.....
    So..what do you guys think of joomla? is it worth it to use it? Any open Source Content Management Systems I can install similar to joomla....?

    Look like joomla have so many exploits...
    And what about drupal?

    Opinion please....

    No cms is 100% secure, but if you take the necessary steps to secure your app, you can avoid a lot of common problems like making sure you chmod your files and directories right.

    Yes, some have a worse track record than others, (eg nuke PHPbb), but if you found the exploits on milw0rm's site (they are very well known for defacing sites), then forward the bugs to Joomla's web site. They do fix problems asap. If you need more help, PM me. I have tried a LOT of these apps.
