Science?
"Take this warning from me, Marlo. It is my intention to destroy your career as a liar. If you produce one more editorial against climate change, I will launch a campaign against your professional integrity. I will call you a liar and charlatan to the Harvard community of which you and I are members. I will call you out as a man who has been bought by Corporate America. Go ahead, guy. Take me on."

One hundred years from now, after "Global Warming" has been discredited
as a fake scare, who will be the hero, and who will be the villain?
I came in to the world with nothing. I still have most of it.

Arrr............. the little scumbag is worried that his "Global Warming" "research funding" cash cow scam cover is getting blown. He feels marginalised because he is obviously lacks the intellectual ability to to even try a 419 scam Time he had a thorough IRS audit IMO
"carbon footprints", "carbon emission"............ the usual ignorant bullsh1t. Man is too puny to have any significant effect either way.
The climate has changed to both much hotter and much colder than currently predicted trends; not only on the paleontological time scale, but also on the timescale of human records. This has happened in times when even the most delusional research grant whores on animal tranks wouldn't dare to suggest that Man had any influence whatsoever.
What is true:
1. We pollute our environment
2. We destroy ecosystems
3. We squander limited and non-sustainable resources
4. We waste energy
5. We consume conspicuously
6. The japanese murder whales
7. The chinese are responsible for Tiger poaching
What is also true is that by far the most preponderant content of the Earth's atmosphere that causes the "greenhouse effect" is water vapour, (yeah, that's it, plain old H2O).............. and just what do they propose to do about that?............. pingpong balls on the Pacific and Indian oceans?
The proponents of the "Global Warming" scam are either pathological liars (a.k.a. politicians), or intellectual pygmies jostling at the trough of research grants. History and science are not on the side of either.
The only thing positive I can think of is that global warming scams are currently legal, whilst 419s are not?
Yes, I have studied this phenomenon for over 40 years and I do have a relevant Honours Degree..................
rcgreen............... in answer to your question old chap: the villains are amongst us as we speak............. I thought you guys had "minutemen" to deal with this eventuality?
MsM.....
You think the planet will be around for another 100 years??
Yes it will be. It is a marvellous enclosed biosphere with enormous capabilities of self-regeneration. The real question will be "who will be the occupants?"

Are you and I actually agreeing on something???
I've fought numerous battles and am laughed at around the office for calling "Global Warming" a scam and pointing out that it's expected climate change based on historical records that will continue to occur regardless of what we do.

Hi HT~
I believe we have agreed on this in the past on more than one occasion. We did disagree on recycling, but that was down to the different economic and geographical situations of the UK and what I would imagine to be most parts of Canada

I would bet money on it, if I thought I would be here to spend
my earnings. Every day, most people "bet" on the future by
having children. The societies with the highest birth rates
have the greatest faith in the future, and they will own the world.
The people of the future will laugh at our generation the way we laugh
at the generation that blamed the bubonic plague on Jews "poisoning
the wells". We think we know so much. If that is true, why do they have to
destroy science textbooks every 20 years or so? To hide their embarrassment,
that's why.
I came in to the world with nothing. I still have most of it.
