    Career path for Computer Information System Manager?

    What is the job scope of a Computer Information System Manager? What is the background of a IS manager? As a system analyst or a network engineer/system engineer?

    Different organisations use titles differently, so there is no "correct answer" to your question.

    Assuming that there are other people looking after networks and infrastructure the most likely route would be through development and analysis.

    Some financial training/background would also be useful.
