There's so many good flicks. Some of my recent favs are:
Office Space
The Color of Paradise (Persian flick -- subtitles)
The Bourne series.
If you liked Das Boot, check out Stalingrad from the same director (subtitles). Also there's a movie out about the making of Dr. Strangelove, might be on the Kubrick DVD. It's a good background on the movie.
Also, check out Little Buddha, one of Keanu Reeves more obscure offerings. It's a nice offering largely about Tibetan Buddhism.

It's difficult for me to pick my favorite. However, many people above have already posted some of my favorites. Usual Suspects, Boondock Saints.
One that has not yet been mentioned is Donnie Darko.

Quitmzilla is a firefox extension that gives you stats on how long you have quit smoking, how much money you\'ve saved, how much you haven\'t smoked and recent milestones. Very helpful for people who quit smoking and used to smoke at their computers... Helps out with the urges.

Favorite film! Hard choice there.
Cant pick one but probably bladerunner, LOTR, Seven, Blairwitch1, Starship troopers, Eternal sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

Yeah and so?...fond memories, we didn't hang our food in the flats though,under my pillow yeah, the fittings going, well as long as we carried our spanners...
