There's so many good flicks. Some of my recent favs are:

    Office Space

The Color of Paradise (Persian flick -- subtitles)

    The Bourne series.

If you liked Das Boot, check out Stalingrad from the same director (subtitles). Also there's a movie out about the making of Dr. Strangelove, might be on the Kubrick DVD. It's a good background on the movie.

Also, check out Little Buddha, one of Keanu Reeves more obscure offerings. It's a nice offering largely about Tibetan Buddhism.

It's difficult for me to pick my favorite. However, many people above have already posted some of my favorites. Usual Suspects, Boondock Saints.

One that has not yet been mentioned is Donnie Darko.

I really like movies that make you think.
Momento is another one that is a must see.
