    Red face Cloverfield

I'm going to attempt to link Cloverfield to computer security so I'm not flamed for posting something that is totally irrelevant to security........ok......I've got nothing.

So, has any of you cool cats seen Cloverfield yet?? What did you think?

What's so "holy crap" about it? Looks good on the previews but I'm taking a stab in the dark saying "remake of godzilla"?? lol.

It doesn't come out over here until February, but from what I have to go on the concept is interesting. Using hand held cameras and an amateur video approach.

It sort of reminds me of "Rumblefish" where they used interspersed black and white footage.

I don't know how popular it will be but I would be willing to bet that it will achieve cult status.

I didn't expect much, but it surprised me. Without giving it away, basically it takes a very generic, overdone, shallow plot and approaches it from a new angle.

It's what Blair Witch should have been, IMHO.

It was a good movie. Sound effects are perfect for my taste. Go see the movie; stay away from the crappy bootlegs.

I've heard some good reviews about it.
