    VLC

    Anyone here running VLC ? if so have anyone come across the below problem ??


    AppName: vlc.exe AppVer: 0.8.6.0 ModName: msvcrt.dll
    ModVer: 7.0.2600.0 Offset: 000335d0


    Every time I click to run VLC it crashes and provides me with the above error. Ive tried uninstall and reinstall to newer versions but no luck.

    Tried searching the net but no luck.

    Running windows xp.

    For the in-a-nutshell version: your best option is to rename your plugin directory (the guy there just added a space at the beginning) then run vlc, then change the plugin directory back to the original name and run it again and it should work.

    If not, then you must downgrade. Seems the first option solved the problem for everyone else tho.
