    Wikileaks Survives Despite Judge's Order

The Bits blog at The New York Times has a great item on Wikileaks.org and the brouhaha surrounding it. Offshore banking, intrigue... this one has it all.

But Wikileaks had clearly planned ahead for this sort of thing. The records for the site’s I.P. address indicate that it is hosted by PRQ, based in Stockholm. PRQ’s home page offers clues that it’s not just another hosting company. It paraphrases a quote from Mike Godwin of the Electronic Frontier Foundation: “I worry about my children all the time. I worry that 10 years from now, they will come to me and say, ‘Daddy, where were you when they took freedom of speech away from the Internet?’”

Makes me wonder what would happen if I point one of my domain names to 88.80.13.160...

Wow. Even the IP isn't responding. I hadn't heard of either the bank or the site itself until reading this article. Rather interesting to say the least. You can also go to the Belgium address (wikileaks.be) I believe and get the same info (?)

The IP is responding fine here - wikileaks.be indeed seems to be a mirror...
