    Angry install usb modem on backtrack2

    ok i have a sierra wireless compass 597 broadband card from sprint and i dont know how to install it on backtrack2. i installed my linksys wusb54gc just fine cause i had a little help, but for this i cant find any help wat soever....wat are the comands? any help is much appriciated.... thx............. lol i just seen the two smileys arguing and realized thats me with my usb modem lol.....i got ta get a life!!!!!!

    Are you sure that your broadband card is compatible with backtrack2? Have you researched the compatibility of the card and made sure you loaded it correctly? I would research for you, but I'm at work and research should be the first thing you do.

    ive researched it and found nothing.....the guys at the computer store said that i will most likely have to have someone build a driver for it....how the F**K am i supposed to build a driver for it.....i am @ a loss on this one.....i guess can any one build a driver for me?

    I'm not REAL sure how to build a driver because I know next to nothing about programming, but I imagine you download the driver for your broadband card and either use ndiswrapper or compile the driver for it.

    Honestly, though, why would you want to use a cellular broadband card for backtrack 2? What are you trying to accomplish?
