c:\$Microsoft System Tray??? any ideas?....help!!
Hi
Im having problems i'm looking at a file, when i go to the properties of the file, it points to c:\$Microsoft System Tray any ideas what this is?

it was recently opened file, and it pointed to that location, i have searched google but found nothing with regards to what that location is.

Try an online scanner see if it detects something.. or submit that file for online analysis at virustotal.com
what is the extension ?

well well
when this particular command is run in the start menu run" c:\ Microsoft System Tray" it opens nothing but your local drive 'c' and $ means its a hidden extention
"c:\$Microsoft System Tray" This is the path to the place where the file is actually located but i am wondering this is not exactly a location of the file.
can you feed with some screen shots
well i am not much sure about it
