    Smile Favourite WebBrowser for 2008?

    Greetings.

I am curious as to know what with all the variety's of Browsers available each having there own pro's 'n Con's, what is the most favourite/Used browser amongst AO users for 2008.

Yeah yeah i know there are official stat things, but i'm more interested in what AO users use to surf the interwebz with.

So cast your vote ( *Multiple selection ) and give a reason in your reply on why you choose to use that Browser.

IE8 beta I have been using, dont know if that constitutes to go under IE ...

I still prefer firefox, doesnt crash that much for me as any other browser. Also really quick and easy to configure.

This was a tough poll as I like both Firefox and Opera.

I have to use IE at work. If Opera had the dropdown File>Open Location like IE and Firefox it would be almost perfect.

    IE or Opera.

Everything else is subpar in comparison.

Like, there's this icon that comes installed on my computer?
I click it and it goes on the internet...

I use the default, whatever it may be. It seems that firefox
is the most common on Linux. I use Ubuntu, so whatever...
Actually some Linux versions have three or four browsers
installed. That's overkill, but.. My daughter's XP box, I made
the mistake of updating to the latest IE version. I liked the
previous one better. I guess you just get used to the interface.

For security, disable scripting and all is well, no matter what browser.
I came in to the world with nothing. I still have most of it.

Yeah, first thing I'd do with IE is disable live search, then tabs, and all toolbar buttons except for Home.

I have the iepro Addon installed to run with ie7. Adds a lot of extra's to help a user configure ie to work the way they want it to work.

Can even setup adblocking filter's etc and can install user scripts. There much like greasemonkey scripts.
