Liking it so far. Been running it since the release. Very quick and low load. Was Vista the Windows ME of the current iteration of Microsoft's OSes?

That sounds about right. I have no problems with Vista but it does like a lot of memory and video resource.
I guess that my recent favourites would be:
Win 3.1x
Win 98SE
Win NT4.0
Win 2000
Win XP
With any luck Win 7 will be to Vista what XP was to ME

Well as far as I know the release date is around August but it seems so far away. I wonder if its too early to install it as my main OS :P

According to TechNet the beta will expire in August and you WILL NOT be able to upgrade from the beta to production release.

No I mean daylight-saving time used to begin on the first Sunday of April and reverted to standard time on the last Sunday in October. Now it's the second Sunday in March, ending on the first Sunday in November.
Windows 7 still changes on the first Sunday of April
