    Lost Excel Password

    Hi folks-

    Anybody use or know of a reliable program to strip or recover a password on an excel protected document?

    The entire file is password protected.

    We've tried a few freeware tools found through web searches but none are working so far.

    Thanks!

    Have a look at Advanced Office 2000 Password Recovery (http://www.elcomsoft.com/aopr.html) hasn't let me down yet.

    I use this expression when discussing paid service that is crap..... when things are free I like the expression;

    "What you get for free, is worth what you paid for it"

    Have you tried contacting Microsoft? Unsure of how they would be able to help, but if you are or if you know a Microsoft Partner I am sure they could work something out
