Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas Everyone !
This is my favorite time of year. Plain and simple. I know most people probably think Halloween is my favorite Holiday, and I do love Halloween, but, I just can't imagine a Holiday better than Christmas.
NP: The Ramones - Danny Says - One of the most important songs ever to me. Why? Because a few years ago, I was having the time of my life. So much stuff was just going so well for me and I loved it, and it was December, almost Christmas, and then, into Christmas, and I just had such a great time for weeks.
Anyway, a lot of the time I was having all this great fun, and all this good stuff, I was listening to The Ramones a lot, and in particular, Danny Says and Merry Christmas by the Ramones.
And since it was Christmas Eve and I was blasting that song a lot, it sort of stuck with me. And it's such a well done song! I mean the sound itself is just so neat sounding and mellow, and they do mention Christmas and Snow in the song, lol, and I just love it.
The other reason this song has a special place in my heart, is that, in Danny Says, they also say "And I can't wait, to be with You, Tommorrrrroooowwwwwww".... And, well, on December 14th, 2006, I was trying to sleep early, because on December 15th, the next day, I was leaving Michigan to go to Montreal to live with my then GF and now Wife.
I sent who is now my Wife that song the day before I was leaving, and told Her to listen to that line in particular because of it saying that, which is how I felt.
And now, we're Married, and so that song is even MORE important! I mean it was already one of my favorites, and then, the great times I've had listening to it, and now of course it being something I sent to my Wife before we were Married, it's obviously important to me.
Anyway, A Christmas Story is on TBS right now for 24 hours, and I love that movie too! I've taken some shots from people tonight who don't exactly like that movie, and think playing it for 24 hours straight is to much, but I don't care, at all, not even a little, because I love it
So Merry Christmas AntiOnline!

Lol, I don't have a BB gun. The only gun I own is a German Mauser from 1891 I used to have BB guns but they all broke after a long time. The Mauser doesn't get shot, it's too nice to even think about loading ammo into it. Besides, that wouldn't shoot an eye out, that would blow the back of my head off my skull lol.

A Classic movie and one of my favourites (take it any day over the Wizard of Oz). The leg lamp ( http://tinyurl.com/y9asy3m ) is my favourite battle of it all.
Happy Holidays to everyone and best wishes for the New Year.

I got a new computer for Christmas!
This is the first time since... Well, the very very first PC I ever had was one my Mom got from my Uncle with Windows 95 but it was destroyed in 6 months (My fault) and I ended up buying an HP Pavilion like the next day, which I still have as my FTP server.
It's odd having a computer I didn't buy, but very nice since I was in bad need of upgrades.
Intel Duo Core 2 E8400 @ 3 GHz, 1333 MHz FSB, with 6 MBs Cache, 16 X DVD +/-RW, 4 GBs DDR2 SDRAM 800 MHz, ATI Radeon HD 3450 256 MBs, (Would have been more but my Mom tricked me into thinking I was building HER a new machine, and I said not to get on board video, but that She wouldn't need more than that, so I can upgrade the card), Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit, 750 GB Serial ATA 2HD, and a bunch of software + Wireless Mouse and Keyboard, and finally a Dell S2209W Flat Panel Monitor, HD.
Considering I've been using a 2.40 GHz Celeron with 512 RAM, and a 17 inch monitor non flat screen, and a Laptop that also has 512 RAM, and is 15 inches, with a 30 GB HD..... I'm blown already.
Oh, and I got the neon Blue face plate for it, because Blue is my favorite color.

Thanks man.
That book is amazing, it has a list of every known Multics machine still working as of 1993, and I was looking like "Wow... These places kept a REAL Multics machine going!" it's kinda neat lol.

My 95 lasted far beyond the 90s. I gave it to someone some six years ago... I bet that joker is still in use some fifteen years after purchase. And the software was so old that they each came with nfo's that had phone numbers in them instead of urls.
