I am looking for a network capable scanner with the ability to scanner multiple papers at once. I am look for something halfway decent under $1000, if possible.

We use an HP 9200C. Flawless operation over the past 5 years or so.
I think it's discontinued, but I see refurbs online for under $1K.

Requires server software for configuration and licensing.
    Web interface to device.
    No desktop software required.
Scan and save to file share or email.

    Hey Kurt ,

If you are looking for a desktop / network compatible scanner . I would recommend the Fujitsu scansnap 1500s . Its a color scanner . Duplex scans , 20 page per min. The footspace is very minimal as well. This does require software running on a pc to confirm the scan drop location after the push scan.
My users love this device and for the cost of about 400 bucks you can't go wrong.
