Although, if you feel uncomfortable, then you can use "Port Security Software" like ProPort, etc...
That's a good point about the limitations of relying solely on IP addresses for security. Utilizing port security software like ProPort could indeed add an extra layer of protection and peace of mind. Thanks for the recommendation!

Here are a few steps you can take to safeguard your system:
Disconnect from the Internet: If you're still connected, it?s best to disconnect until you can assess the situation.
Scan for Malware: Run a full system scan with a reputable antivirus or anti-malware tool to detect any possible infections.
Check Your Firewall Settings: Ensure that your firewall is properly configured to block unauthorized connections. Review the IPs and ports to see if any should be manually blocked.
Change Your Passwords: If you suspect a security breach, update your passwords for critical accounts, especially those related to email, banking, or work.
Avoid Visiting Suspicious Websites: As you mentioned, the site might have hackers or malware, so avoid returning to it and consider using a reputable website filtering tool.
Consult an IT Professional: If the issue persists, it might be wise to get professional assistance to ensure your system?s integrity.
Let me know if you need further help with this, and stay safe online!
