Vanity Plate
Got my tax refund, yeah! Gonna get a vanity plate. Please help me choose the best one by voting.
Thanks!
BTW, if you think of one I didn't include, it's probably already taken.

Did you verify that all of the plates are available in your state?

Yup. They have a search function on the RMV website. At the time of posting, they were all available.

How about something simple such as IOIOIO? It is available.

One of my colleagues previously had that plate, and it was taken away by the registry. Somebody filed a complaint that referred to something inappropriate.
Also, are we no longer able to hide posts?

Way back when, we used to be able to "hide" a post that might offend people. It would display as a hidden post with a link to the full thing. Basically, if you agreed to be offended, you clicked the link to expand the post, but if you were fragile, you were protected from viewing it.

They're meant to be tongue-in-cheek, not negative

Aahh yes, now i remember. That feature was available when we were still using the old custom vbulletin. In short it was a port of the moderator tool "Approve / Un-Approve" post option.
It was given the name "Hide Post" and was setup so that normal registered users could do what you described.
Unfortunatly the original heavily modded version of vbulletin that we used to use when that was a "Feature" had more security holes then swiss cheese.
Us moderator's / Admins are able to un-approve posts thus making them hidden, registered users etc cannot view / quote etc, but us moderator's / Admin's can still view / quote etc.
That is basically how that "Hide post" came into fruitation.
