Security concerns

Hi everyone.. I have subscribed to VoIP digital phone service of Acanac, for my business purposes. But recently, I read that security is very poor with VoIP. Identity theft, phishing, hacking, etc are common issues of VoIP. Is that true? If so, how can I overcome the issue of security? Is there any solution? As there are many private messages to pass through, I am very concerned about my business communications through VoIP. Please do reply.

I recently encountered the same problem as yours. I asked friends, it would be safe for my colleagues if I would buy the VoIP service. After reading the article https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secure...nection_phones, I realized that no one could steal personal data, because the secure phone itself encrypts the data so that it cannot be stolen it was.
