Phishing emails are a constant problem. The corporation I work for has implemented a pro-active program which sends authorized phishing emails to each employee on a regularly scheduled basis throughout the year. When a employee clicks on a corporate sponsored phishing email the employee is taken to a WEB page that provides education on what the employee could have done to recognize the email was a phishing email.
The program has been in place for over two years. Since the inception of the program, the amount of employees which click on the corporate phishing emails has steadily declined.

Phishing attacks is one of the highest risks lately for organizations. In order to be minimze risk for such attacks an organization would need take both proactive and reactive measures to respond on such risks.
Security awareness is one of the most effective proactive ways to prevent from such attacks to be materialized. Organizations tend to run such exercise with aim to educate users and also to detect levels of awareness with the organization.
On the other hand such attacks inevetibley cannot be prevented totally.
An organization could implement easy ways for users to report potential phishing emails so that those can be investigated by the security proffesionals and idemtify if those are generic or tatgetted and thus more riskier.
Finally once those links have been analysed , tecnological solutions can be implemented to protect the wider organizations and prevent other users from accesing infected sites by ditected all sites through sinkhole servers so that traffic can be inspected and allowed based on criteria.
