what is threat actor?
I would like to know clearly about the threat actor.
May I kindly request to explain how many sorts of threat actors and What is their main responsibility? How could they mitigate when the organization faced with the threat?

A threat actor is also known as a malicious actor. They are an entity that is wholly or partial responsible for an attack that causes harm, or the potential to harm an organizations network security. They are often classified as cybercriminal, nation state, or internal threat.

A threat actor is a person, group, or organization that does bad things online. A threat actor's goal can be anything from making money to spying and causing trouble. There are many different kinds of threat actors, such as nation-state actors, hacktivists, insiders, organized crime groups, and script kiddies.
