    I started a new website and am curious about security.

    A website’s security depends on the protocol (https:// ) l that you have and the domain register site.
    As you create the website hide your information WHOIS and change your last password.
    Make your website software update and use security plugin .
    Make sure you check the lists of giving permission to the others and you can hide the admin page for more security.

    you need SSL and in case Wordpress you need build security manual with update wordpress, also plugins for security are good.

    I recommend 5 main steps you follow for secure you website.

    1. Install an SSL certificate.
    2. Update your site regularly.
    3. Use strong passwords.
    4. Back up your site regularly.
    5. Scan, scan, scan.
