Hi
All you have to do is go in Windows Dos mode and run this command when connected to your ISP
IPCONFIG -ALL|MORE
And note all the neccssary informations for future use, and do write back if it works.

Success!!!
Hey,
I am online, the problem with me not being able to ping and visit websites is because my firewall was configured too tightly. I did a "vi /etc/sysconfig/ipchains" and changed it to accept, viola!
Next thing to do is read up on security. Anyone that reads this could you please post some links on linux security.
thanks,
Jason
