Think one of my favorites (just saw it again the other day) from an old Solaris box:
nfs mount: servername.domainname.com: : RPC: Rpcbind failure - RPC: Success
Ranks right up there with the other one "Cannot remove, file exists."
(we won't go into the evils of running NFS and/r RPC in any case)
I remember a long time ago (doesn't seem like so long now), wanting to go up to McNeely and
ask, "If the computer is the network, what's with "Transceiver cable problem"" -- could be dating
myself a bit, though. LOL

When I used to use a 3rd party dial-up program for an ISP, I clicked the 'Connect' button, and the modem dialled, everything happened as usual, then I got the message:
Error: Connected To Internet.
Please disconnect and try again.
