    Question Is netscape6 a shell?

    I know IE is a shell so I thought it would better the wise to change. I deicded to dl Netscape 6, is that a shell too?

    No...

    IE is a shell because it integrates itselfs with Windows....

    Here's the best way to know...
    Can you access your hardrive with the web browser? (see files and run them) If you can, then it's a shell, if you can't, it ain't no shell

    That is what I thought, however I went to my Netscape and typed C:\ , low and behold, there was my C drive..
