dont abuse the Google!
Here’s a quick little news story about Google-bombing
http://zdnet.com.com/2100-1106-883586.html
I think this is even worse then the days when sites use to put the same word in their web page 2000 times just to get more hits.
Its not software piracy. I’m just making multiple off site backups.

I hate that. They either put all their keywords in commented HTML tags or they put them actually on the page with the same font colour as the background.

A lot of search engines, just ignore the site if there are words on the site, that have the same color as the background. I think i read that at www.searchengines.com but i'm not sure. It's been awhile.

There 's a lot of sites using this trick to pass key-words limits.
But I think that's nothing comparate to those sites with "mp3, warez, porn..." links all around the pages thats are created only to rise trafic on anothers sites (with false links, pop-ups...).
It is now became comon and it is a big problem to search anything without knowing specialised adresses. :-!

Heh, This is so true.. In fact I used to do it back in the day, then I realized that it was annoying and stopped.... Luckily search engines are ignoring keywords in comments () And same font color as the Backround

I think it'll get worse in the future. People will find other ways of getting their page the first to show up in the search results and the results will no longer be helpful at all. I think there should be an organization created to find all these damn sites that try to cheat and get their search result ranked higher and remove them from ALL search engines. It's a disgrace!!!!!!
Or hopefully google will find a way around this. Don't google have competition where they get people to program stuff and they select a winner? I heard something like that. Well anyways, they should start a competition where people come up with ways to filter thru these sites that try to cheat the search engines!!
