    Hi Negative,
I I think you may be comparing the wrong stories. I looked at the New International Version (one of the most widely distributed versions) and all four gospel accounts had five loaves and two fishes. In my Bible Matthew 14:19 reads: "And he [Jesus] directed the people to sit down on the grass. Take the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaen, he gave thanks and broke the loaves." There is another miracle story where Jesus feeds a crowd of four thousand with seven loaves of bread and some fish. That story is in Matthew 15:29-39. Matthew's account of the feeding of the five thousand takes place in Matthew 14:13-21. This story is the one recorded in all four gospels.
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
    (Romans 6:23, WEB)

It's not up to you to decide whether or not this thread is a complete waste of electricity...
It IS up to you though whether you decide to ignore this thread or not...

    A 'useless attempt' indeed...

/me smacks the translators of his copy of the Bible...

Do you work together with Phire, cause he told me the exact same thing a couple of minutes ago... *shrugh*

I was wrong, you are right...although I can only find one of the two events in Lucas...
I liked the changing of the water to wine better personally... It takes those French farmers months to do that stuff...

Scorp> I thought you were leaving... I thought this thread wasn't worth your valuable time... What happened? Can't stay away?

Oh yeah, and Neg... I think you did a great job handlin' Scrap666... just what I'd expect from you.
I know you\'re out there. I can feel you now. I know that you\'re afraid. You\'re afraid of us. You\'re afraid of change. I don\'t know the future. I didn\'t come here to tell you how this is going to end. I came here to tell you how it\'s going to begin. I\'m going to hang up this phone, and then I\'m going to show these people what you don\'t want them to see. I\'m going to show them a world without you, a world without rules and controls, without borders or boundaries. A world where anything is possible. Where we go from there is a choice I leave to you.
