Program C and C++ on your Palm!
Browsing the net and came across this.....
www.halogen.com (properly - h410g3n.com) has a guide, and files, to allow you to program in C and C++ on your palm... so you can begin to write some code at home, transfer it to our palm, and continue on it at work, on a long trip, and then so.... as well as begin a program right there as someone talks about something that crosses your mind!
So now I can write code on the road, compile and link all of the **** completely on the Palm computing platform! Nifty.
Get the install and download info here
(I know it's not from the best source, but it's something, eh?)

Um, call me stupid, but can't you just write code on a piece of paper? Yeah, you can't compile it, but if you're good like me (yeah right) you'll know what the program will do as you're programming it, making programming useless. Therefore, we no longer need to program! So why do we? The same reason we climb Everest. Because it's there.
Hmm... I'm making no sense... I'm out.
I know you\'re out there. I can feel you now. I know that you\'re afraid. You\'re afraid of us. You\'re afraid of change. I don\'t know the future. I didn\'t come here to tell you how this is going to end. I came here to tell you how it\'s going to begin. I\'m going to hang up this phone, and then I\'m going to show these people what you don\'t want them to see. I\'m going to show them a world without you, a world without rules and controls, without borders or boundaries. A world where anything is possible. Where we go from there is a choice I leave to you.

I don't have a palm but I like what I hear
tyger_claw: there's gonna be a problem with free space though... and not to mention how long a time a palm would take to compile a really big proggie... and what if u wanted to program something with graphics? there's no space for image-files... but it's still a start.. and they can run Linux! w00t!

True that the palms are limited in size, that why I only recommed it for the newer Palms with 16 megs and over, and with the expansion cards!
