Instead of animals eating their young. Kiddies could just eat each other............. It would save a poor animal a stomach ache.

Where is the question? This is the newbie questions thread, and I want a question to answer....

Someone please find me a quesion in this thread...

    Oh wait, I found one....
it's better to have something than nothing...what do u have ??? Do u even know how to use php or sql ???
Well, its not a newbie question, but a question anyway...
What do I have? A degree in information systems, and 22 years of experience using computers....
Do I know php? Not really. I don't do web page design, so there is no need for it. Maybe I will learn it someday when if I need to know it, but untill then, there is a lot better things for me to learn...
Do I know sql? Yes. If I didn't, I would have a really hard time supporting 3 different databases at my job.... Let alone testing out new systems to replace our accounting package and our supply/inventory system...

sometimes people think that they know tooo much...so...they can't learn anything new
That would be me. Why learn something I am not interested in?

Walks in as its the usual newbie post "must read". Then walks back out as he scrolls through and sees that its mostly red and gray in here.

Sorry folks, but I think Ennis's Newbie faq is much much more informative.

Well...two ways to verify this sparky...1) Check his profile 2) Note the obvious intelligence of his posts that give away his years and experience on the job.
