WoW! I'm suprised to see so much Norton Backing. They must have done something right recenlty, because I went running and screaming from their old issues.

I use GriSoft AVG free edition. It works great, and has saved me from more than a few email worms as well as downloads from the internet.

yer my mate swears by avg, it is a good av scanner and best of all its free. i think its worth using along side another scanner offering you more protection, cus at the end of the day to decrrease the risk of a virus/trojan etc.. it is worth using more than 1 av scanner.

Norton Internet Security and Antivirus 2002, it's always constantly updating, and better yet, it came with my computer package...even better.

I use Norton security 2002 myself. It is a very reliable program the only fault in it is sometimes that the scaner has no updates for some viruses or it takes a while for them to have a update... But the web site always has removal tips

Mcaffee's AV products have yet to do me wrong. I was using Zone Alarm, but I've got some weird XP issues happening(not related to Z.A.) so I switched back to Mcfee's firewall as well.

    Hola,
TVD from McAfee is my AV. I do agree that it takes quite a lot of resources from the box for an AV but it does the job. I use McAfee since they bought Dr.Solomon's, my previous AV.
Never tryied Norton, maybe i should!?!
