    PS if advertisementz on the .net r your problem I simply close them b4 they have a chance to load. Crl, alt, & delete if all else fails. A even if not biger problem would be cookies, I mean its such a privacy threat and it is such a pain in the neck to get rid of in some situations.

    Seeing that you specifically mentioned Yahoo! Messenger, there was a very recent announcement of a BO attack that it was vulnerable to...

    While the chances are remote, there is a possibility that this would have been an avenue for someone to take advantage ....

    Yah00 is known for its expliots.There are codes you can insert in filter #1 that help stop some of the problems in Yah00.But my advice is to use the JAvA version of Yah00.Les "boots" and less problems with Yah00's known script kiddies.Which is a major problem with Yah00 chat.Yah00 really needs a major patching done to it. And I do not use the yah00 instant message software.I chat in yah00 dailly in hackers lounge #1.Few script kiddes come there,when they do they usually are running "booters" So useing the java version is better.
