they have my IP and want to hack me!!

i pissed a bunch of ppl off (about 50) with insults and stuff and now they have my IP adres. i downloaded zonealarm pro, but what else can i do to stop them? how can they hack me? plz im a newby and need some advice on what to do

A.) Best defense is to stay the hell offline.
B.) Configure your firewall properly, set up AV software, and be weary of downloading unknown files
C.) Don't piss anyone else off.
D.) I'm not going to tell you how they can hack you.
E.) Use common sense.

First rule of system security -- No system online is totally secure. If someone wants to cause damage to your system or it's data, and your system remains online, there's nothing you can do about it. The best you could do is make it much too difficult for them to bother. Even if they couldn't get into your system, they could keep it from getting online by flooding it with valid requests (DoS).

For future reference, try not to tick anybody off, especially individuals with the capability to cause damage.

Time to test your disaster recovery plan.

another thing 2 go with outpost firewall its better than zonealarm and easy to configure

Also go further than getting offline, unplug the phone cord from the jack, I read somewhere they can still access as long as the phone is plugged into the wall.

Do you have a static or a dynamic IP address?

is ur ip address static or dynamic?

if they have ur ip addy simply change it, there are ways to do it through windows xp, i dont know how to so it on other os'

just type in google change ip address and it should tell you how to do it.
